Tina Honerkamp was born and raised in the mountains of western North Carolina. She is married to the love of her life and they have two successful, grown sons. She graduated university with a degree in Clothing, Textiles, and Merchandising. Early in her career she illustrated her first book, Mimi’s Heirloom Sewing, Book Two.

With a background in illustration and design, Tina never considered trying her hand at oil painting until her friend and mentor encouraged her to. "I finally feel like I've found my calling!"- Tina

Tina's passion is florals and light and shadow. She loves painting animals as well. "All things that have life in them challenge me to somehow capture and express that life."

Tina’s main goal is to live, create, and share artistic Godly expressions so that others may see and experience the Lord, His beauty, and His goodness.

She is a member of the Haywood County Arts Council, Oil Painters of American and American Women Artists.
